SUEDE
Suede,
like all leather, is entirely natural. For thousands of
years Man has made use of animal hides which have been tanned
to give the strength and pliability that characterise a
suede garment. A second skin.
All
our garments tolerate water. Frequent airing and brushing
is the best way to care for your suede garment and reduces
the need for laundering which should be limited to once or
twice a year. Surface stains are easiest removed with a suede
brush.
Unlined garments can be machine washed at 35 degrees using
natural soap only - not detergents. Lined garments should
be dry cleaned at leather specialists.

SILK
The
story of each of garment begins with white silk imported
from China. The quality is carefully selected. It is then
painted with different brushes according to a traditional
Japanese technique originally used for painting Kimonos.
Steaming
at high temperature fixes the Colours. This process insures
that colour is permanently retained and allows the silk to
be washed with water releasing the excess dye. It is then
ironed and dried ready to be cut into patterns and designs
ready to be sewn.
